Happy Birthday Susan

We had a belated birthday dinner at Lantern, a nice, cute restaurant in Chapel Hill. We don't go to dinners this nice very often, and definitely won't be now that I'm on a grad-student budget again, so it was a nice celebration.

Harry Potter- the end of an era!

I'm in Houston for a summer job, but I wasn't about to let that stop me from going to see Harry Potter 7.2 at midnight, in costume. I went as incendio, the spell used to set things on fire. I've been planning this for months... ok pretty much since the last movie came out. I polled my HP loving students for help on the costume, as I really wanted to be a spell. It was so much fun- I'm definitely going to have to find use for the wig again!
