Conferencing

In the same month I had conferences in Baltimore and Chicago. In Chicago it was for a math ed conference, so I just went to me and my research partner's poster session and spent the rest of the time hanging out with friends.

With Ashley at a good tapas place

Smell-a-vision at McCormick & Schmidts Store, which wasn't as cool as we'd hoped

With Bryan, my research partner, before our presentation. I had two at this conference.

With Hillary, Alison, and Ashley at the UNC party. Critical Carpool friends

Most of the UNC grad students in attendance, with Dr. Lynda Stone (a prof at UNC) after her presidential address

Manning the registration desk like a champ!

Conference 2- Chicago! Here I am at the bean in Millennium Park

The conference hotel was super fancy!
I got to meet De's son, Theo. What a cutie! He was totally posing for the camera :-)

I think he likes me!

Vegan Korean food!! I was really excited to eat this soup.

This place was lovely! And so was seeing Joy.

Had to get a pic of the rainbow towers in boys town.

Last meal at Chicago Diner, a vegan restaurant. I'd also had a haircut- there was a tornado earlier that day, and Joy and I waited it out at the salon.
