So sadly stef's flight got canceled so shes getting here late this evening. nothing to post really just killing time and you lucky people get to read my ramblings! Have checked in to a guesthouse not to far from the airport, as my backpacker budget can't handle another night at the fancy airport hotel. Though I will miss the nice bathroom. But give me a clean bed and internet access and I'm good to go!
I also forgot to mention yesterday that my walking stick was lost in transport! It was such a lovely companion, with the perfect curve at the top for a nice grip, that gnarled jungle look,the bottom worn perfectly smooth. I was able to get it past the security at the airport, but once on the plane they made me check it and by the time I'd made my slow way to the baggage check it was nowhere to be seen and no staff to ask. :-( I don't really need it anymore but I will mourn its loss.
good lord the TV is showing Paris Hilton's music video,could anything be more awful? What will she do next to torture us, an insipid kids show or something? bleh. Sounds like she made this song with some beats from an imac.
