Langkawi

I'm spending my last few days in Malaysia on Langkawi with the German/Irish crew. It's a fabulous lifestyle, laying around the beach, playing frisbee, and the only thing you have to decide is what to have for lunch. It's rough, I know.

We spent 2 days in Georgetown on Penang Island, and that was enough, after the charm of Melaka Georgetown didn't do much for us. We wandered around Little India where kids begged for change, but they didn't ask me, I think my walking stick is indimidating. Good that it is multi-purpose. We walked around a Chinese temple that was being renovated and the guys were telling us about the process and the history, that was pretty cool too. Then yesterday morning we took the ferry to Langkawi island and got to watch very high quality Bollywood music videos on the way. Tomorrow is another beach day, and then I leave to go back to Penang so I can fly to Bangkok to meet Stef on Friday, so looking forward to that! Then... more beach! I love my life :-)
